Mask of Myself

Because who doesn't want to go as themselves for Halloween!
I created the mask off of a caricature I made of myself in Modo (which turned out to be really close to my actual profile). There was no 3d scanning involved in this project - it was all hand modeled.
Then I 3d printed the mask (1.2mm thick PLA on CR10 with .3mm layer height; printed in about 8 hours), coated it in epoxy, sanded lightly and painted liberally with oil paint.
It successfully scared the ever-living crap out of my students when I came into class wearing the mask on Halloween.
