~~~~~~~PROCESS INFO~~~~~~~
Fish modeled in Modo, posed in Maya with a rig.
Printed on CR10 in PLA without any supports. The print was pretty bad quality because my printer was malfunctioning, but it was structurally sound so I just smoothed the heck out of it (durhams rock putty & sanding). There was even a 1/4" hole in the tail that I patched. The side fins were printed in clear resin on my Anycubic Photon and tinted with blue alcohol ink so that they'd be translucent like the fins on the actual actual fish.
Once it was smooth, I diluted cheap craft acrylics and airbrushed on a base color. Then I went in and hand painted the fish based off pictures & videos of the fish the client sent me. It took a hot minute to paint, but once it was done I hit it with some clear gloss spray paint and packed it off to the client.
